(More customer reviews)We love everything about the looks and functionality of this table. It's quite elegant and the two stools are really handy for extra guests. However, when putting one of the stools together, we discovered that a large screw hole had not been drilled. My husband had to go downtown to the hardware store and pay to have it drilled since we do not have a bit that large. That was $1.50. Then, we discovered that the leather top on the other stool was separating at the seam. I called Amazon who sent me to Magnussen who told me to talk to Amazon. What we wanted was just a knew stool. No dice. Not wanting to take the entire set apart and ship it back (it would have been a nightmare re-boxing it), we had our local shoe repair guy stitch the seam for $18. I'm unhappy with Amazon's attitude--they've always been great in the past--and with the company who makes this product. I guess it's best not to order things from a third party through Amazon.
That being said, the table looks exactly like the picture and seems to be fairly good quality. The dark wood does show the dust, something I'll have to get used to. The size is perfect, not too big and not too small. We really like having a round table with no sharp corners to navigate--we are using it with a sectional that includes a chaise so it's enclosed by the entire sofa and yet leaves enough room. You can reach the table from all seats.
